So I got a toneport UX1, and everytime I use it I get crackling from time to time. I have made several posts on this before, but it seems it hasn't been solved. Also, I think this might be becuase of my soundcard, I'm just using a laptop with a built in soundcard.

When I load those presets into Pod Farm/Guitar Rig they sound horrible, while I have the same equipment as them. What should I do now? Also, when I plug my UX1 into a recording program, they sound really weird, having some kind of strange overtone you could expect from these cheap recording stuff: I don't know why It's doing that, When I here sound demos on YouTube with Guitar Rig and Pod Farm, they sound great. What I've tried is using the Analog Out jack to plugin my monitors, but sound only comes out through 1 speaker, since I can only do 1 at a time. However, When I plug them into my Stereo Monitor In on the UX1, no sound comes out. I used a double RCA to 3.5 mm connector and a 3.5 mm female to 6.3 mm male adapter to hookup my speakers to my UX1. I'm using the Cakewalk/Roland MA-15DCW monitors. I installed all the drivers, everything there is fine but I'm having problems with my studio monitors. I gott a Pod Studio UX1 today and had issues setting it up. Maybe the definite order of installing the hardware, drivers, and programs. I've searched around and I see that this is not a rare problem but I was hoping someone had a good solution. However, everytime I open gearbox or line 6 monkey it doesn't think anything is connected. If I go under more info section of "about this mac" and look under USB I can see the Toneport listed on the USB Bus. switching to all the different USB ports

I believe all the 10.6.6 update did was add the Mac App store so I don't see how this could affect the toneport. I had OSX 10.6.5 on my iMac where it worked and I just upgraded to 10.6.6 on the Mac Pro.

I just recently brought it into work to use it to record some audio.
